Something pretty cool

Eskil Steenberg just updated the Love client with an option to export the entire game world, all 300MB’s of it.

He’s also supplied the texture file, so you can have your own model.

Someone on GL has already gone and dropped it into unity.

When Panoramas go wrong

Some bad stitching here, missed one or two crucial screenshots so it came out badly.

Warning, big image.

Love Wiki

Mediawiki really need to sort out their software upgrade procedure. Upgrading the Love Wiki to 1.15 so that I can use navbox templates on pages to clean things up, hopefully it should make it easier to navigate.

Bans, what bans?

Who needs a ban option when you’ve got the Miserable Users mod for you forum?

When classed as miserable, a member suffers ;

1. Slow response (time delay) on every page (20 to 60 seconds default).
2. A chance they will get the “server busy” message (50% by default).
3. A chance that no search facilities will be available (75% by default).
4. A chance they will get redirected to another preset page (25% & homepage by default).
5. A chance they will simply get a blank page (25% by default).
6. Post flood limit increased by a defined factor (10 times by default).
7. If they get past all this okay, then they will be served up their proper page.

I can’t wait to actually use it on someone.

Site Graphics

Just worked on a few new buttons and a header for my site. Spent ages cutting ouch each individual letter, as I don’t have the font file.

It looks a hell of a lot better now.

Custom navbar buttons

Just added some custom navbar links to my VBulletin forum.

It wasn’t quite as tough as I’d thought, just a case of making custom CSS code for the horizontal list and then chopping out unnecessary parts from the navbar php template and adding my custom code in there. Now there aren’t any more superfluous links, and people should be able to find the Wiki link, what with the great big fucking “Wiki” button.

Strangely, it appears my code is no longer validating, so I’ll have to take a look at what exactly is causing that, hopefully it’s an easy fix.

Here’s an example of what the navbar used to look like. Here’s what it looks like now.
